University of Science and Technology Liaoning is located in Anshan City of Liaoning Province, the steel capital of China. To the east of it is Qianshan Mountain National Forest Park. On its west is the national 4A-level Scenic Spot Yu Fuo Yuan. Surrounded by lush greenery and endowed with the spirits of the universe, it has become a place for breeding more talents, a place rich in human cultures and a place suitable for living and study.

Established in 1948, USTL is a multidisciplinary university feacturing in metallurgical engineering which has meanwhile achieved a collaborative development of disciplines such as science, economics, management, and law.
